Area of Origin: Casorzo town, “Sanvi” vineyard.
Grape variety: Barbera d’Asti
Vinification: traditional fermentation in steel vats at controlled temperature 
Alcoholic grading: 13%
Aging: 1 year.

Organoleptic features: ruby-red colour, tending to dark red with aging, dry flavour, bodied, vinous and intense bouquet, characteristic.

Serving temperature: 18-20° C
Food combinations: red meat dishes and game.

 

 

Designation: Grignolino d’Asti

Area of Origin: Casorzo town, “Partia Granda” vineyard.
Grape variety: Grignolino
Vinification: traditional fermentation in steel vats at controlled temperature 
Alcoholic grading: 12%
Aging: 6 months.

Organoleptic features: pink-red colour with orange vein, characteristic and delicate bouquet, dry, slightly tannic, agreeably bitterish flavour.

Serving temperature: 18-20° C
Food combinations: hors-d’oeuvres and first courses.

 

 

Designation: Barbera d’Asti

Area of Origin: One of the oldest Casorzo town vineyard.
Grape variety: Barbera d’Asti
Vinification: traditional fermentation in steel vats at 28-30° C 
Alcoholic grading: 13,5%
Aging: 1 year in barrique.

Organoleptic features: ruby-red colour with dark red vein, marked and intense bouquet with a slight note of vanilla, harsh flavour, dry-bodied with a delicately bitterish aftertaste.

Serving temperature: 18-20° C
Food combinations: red meat and game spicy dishes.

 

 

Designation: Malvasia di Casorzo d’Asti

Area of Origin: Casorzo town, “La Spigliata” vineyard.
Grape variety: Malvasia Casorzo
Vinification: natural fermentation in autoclave at controlled temperature 
Alcoholic grading: 5%

Organoleptic features: pink-red colour, intense and fragrant notes of rose, full, sweet, slightly aromatic and lively flavour.

Serving temperature: 10-12° C
Food combinations: it is a wine for desserts, ideal for touching glasses at the end of the meal.

 

 

Designation: Freisa d’Asti

Area of Origin: Casorzo town, “La Moretta” vineyard.
Grape variety: Freisa
Vinification: traditional fermentation in steel vats at controlled temperature 
Alcoholic grading: 13%
Aging: 6 months

Organoleptic features: dark red colour, intense but delicate rose and raspberry bouquet, full, fresh flavour with raspberry vein.

Serving temperature: 18-20° C
Food combinations: for all dishes, particularly red and white meat.

 

 

Designation: Freisa d’Asti

Area of Origin: Casorzo town, “La Moretta” vineyard.
Grape variety: Freisa
Vinification: traditional fermentation in steel vats at controlled temperature 
Alcoholic grading: 13%
Aging: 6 months

Organoleptic features: dark red colour, intense but delicate rose and raspberry bouquet, full, fresh flavour with raspberry vein.

Serving temperature: 18-20° C
Food combinations: for all dishes, particularly red and white meat.

 

 

Designation: Vino Passito Solatìo

Area of Origin: Casorzo town
Grape variety: Malvasia
Vinification: soft pressing after withering and slow fermentation in barrel (“caratello”)
Alcoholic grading: 15%
Aging: 2 years

Organoleptic features: light pink-red colour with orange vein, fine, delicate bouquet with complex aroma, full, sweet and velvety flavour.

Serving temperature: 18-20° C
Food combinations: meditation wine ideal also for desserts, particularly biscuits.

 

 

Designation: Barbera del Monferrato

Area of Origin: Casorzo town
Grape variety: 85% Barbera, 15% Freisa-Grignolino
Vinification: traditional fermentation in steel vats at controlled temperature 
Alcoholic grading: 12%
Aging: 6 months

Organoleptic features: ruby-red colour, vinous bouquet, dry or slightly semisweet flavour, average-bodied and slightly lively.

Serving temperature: 18-20° C
Food combinations: wine for the entire meal 

 

 

Designation: Piemonte Cortese

Area of Origin: Casorzo town, “Briccolino” vineyard.
Grape variety: Cortese
Vinification: traditional fermentation in steel vats at controlled temperature 
Alcoholic grading: 11%

Organoleptic features: straw-yellow colour with greenish reflexes, delicate and persistent bouquet, fresh flavour, agreeably lively.

Serving temperature: 10-12° C
Food combinations: extraordinary aperitif, ideal for fish dishes.

 

 

Designation: Monferrato Rosso

Area of Origin: Casorzo town
Grape variety: Barbera 50% - Freisa 25% - Cabernet Sauvignon 25%
Vinification: barricade only the part of Cabernet Sauvignon
Alcoholic grading: 13%

Organoleptic features: ruby-red colour.

Serving temperature: 18 - 20° C.
